Colleen O'Hara

About
With over two decades of legal experience, Attorney Colleen O’Hara is a dedicated advocate for her clients, bringing extensive trial experience and a client-centered approach to every case. Licensed to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California since 1999, she has built a reputation for aggressive representation and compassionate service.
Colleen’s legal foundation was shaped by her education at Northwestern University and the University of Virginia for her undergraduate studies, followed by earning her law degree from George Mason University School of Law. During law school, she honed her skills through an internship with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, gained experience at a personal injury law firm, and conducted court trials with a third-year practice certificate. She began her career as a Deputy District Attorney before transitioning into private practice.
Having tried over 200 court and jury trials combined, Colleen brings seasoned litigation skills to every case. She and her team prioritize open communication, returning all client calls the same day, providing monthly written updates, and ensuring clients receive meaningful one-on-one time—not just a rushed meeting. The firm’s commitment to client service is reflected in the number of referrals received from satisfied clients.
Beyond her legal practice, Colleen is committed to giving back. She has volunteered with Homeless Court, helping individuals access services and complete diversion programs to earn case dismissals. She has also participated in immigration events hosted by California lawmakers, providing non-citizens with critical legal information about post-conviction relief.
